Re: Testing attachments
The first image was re-orientated in My Documents using the "rotate (control r) function which has been fine for posting through ImageShack but is not fine using the new SB. I went into the "crop" tab and re-oriented the image there and then saved it, then it worked.

Re: Testing attachments
Could I just check- will the file name be shown in the final version as per above (when loaded directly)? This is not necessarily a bad thing as would encourage proper descriptive labels and make sure images picked up by Google etc.

Re: Testing attachments
I Think Yuri the techie feels he can lose those - we will all see in a day or so when we go "live".
Mods have discussed this and is seems doable to get rid of those. File names are often gibberish of course 45868488335.jpg etc. I'd rather members use clear ones.

Re: Testing attachments
Is the final decision that we don't want to display the filenames? They're easily removable.

No they often look silly and meaningless - members will manually name them correctly I am sure.

I'm also on my phone (android) I use the desktop version of this page on the browser or Chrome and is in normal portrait mode. Try and see whether that works for you

Re: Testing attachments
Thanks for the suggestion. This is an iPhone thing and how the phone is oriented when the picture is taken.NikE wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 00:16:43 amI'm also on my phone (android) I use the desktop version of this page on the browser or Chrome and is in normal portrait mode. I switched from Safari to Chrome, just to check, but my original post of the empty binder was still sideways.
I often take photos with my iPhone in portrait (upright) position, rather than landscape (sideways - horizontal).
This is just me learning about posting directly from my phone, which I rarely have done before.
