How can you tell whether images have been moved from PBuckt?

In the world's dumbest business idea since "New Coke", www.Photobucket.com in July 2017 started demanding $US399pa ($A525) for you to use their service to add, or have visible your old images, here, or on other boards. They added a black Ransom icon to your images on global boards, or ebay etc. Some members have used www.IMGUR.com for years, and have had no issues with that. If you have a thread you had photobucket images in, and want to re-populate it, we will move it here - a forum you can edit for MORE than an hour - forever actually, when given Moderator permissions, and you can add in yours and other's pix via IMGUR links etc. Members have saved 100,000 images so far - VOLUNTEER to assist please!

How can you tell whether images have been moved from Photobucket?

A little early, given the beautiful weather we are having at the moment, but Winter is coming.

Once it does come, I intend to continue with my long term East Germany Wiki project, and the not quite so daunting Annigoni Wiki.

How can I tell if the existing images have already been migrated from Photobucket to Imgur?
With kind regards, Jim

Jim you are part of the volunteer moderator team on the wiki so just clicking edit on any post will bring up the editable part of the post and the text between the will either have an Imgur or a stampboards address within it.

If it has been missed the word photobucket will be there.

Absolutely - not sure where McHaggis has been hibernating for the past year, but 100,000s of photobucket images have been saved to our servers forever, by CMJ and the small army of dedicated hard working volunteers.

McHaggis needs only to look at any one of his older images, and his question would have ben answered.

Clearly shows to him or anyone else who spends 2 seconds right clicking on ANY image on this board.

That shows these same enquiring eyes that it and other images are hosted safely forever here on http://www.stampboards.com - again as can be readily seen it was originally his photobucket image number -

On Macs, "View Image Info", which displays that for all the images on the page, in sequence (so much easier than clicking on individual images :D )

Or for Firefox make that left click "VIEW IMAGE INFO" and not "PROPERIES" of which there is no such option - nor is there in IE/EDGE any option to view image details.

We are trying to assist our tech challenged Haggis, not to confuse him further. but he needs to tell us WHAT browser he uses to get assistance.

Thank you all for the replies.

I shall get on with the scanning.

It's precipitating felines and canines here today. :(

I use Chrome.

In Chrome:

Right click on a background area of any post.

Click View Page Source and the entire page appears as code in a new tab.

Click Ctrl+F and type jpg (or png etc), to check every jpg address on that entire page. most addresses seem to be underlined as well.

If you want to view any image that is listed in that string, just click the underlined image. :D

Or...

Right click any image in Chrome and choose "Open Image in New Tab".

This will give you the url of the image in the address bar.

Have fun doing that when there are 300 images on a single page.
