Re: Philatelic Society Malaysia (Persatuan Filateli Malaysia
The Society will be having its 4th Auction Sale on the 22nd of April 2018 at the club premises at Sentul, Selangor. Most items have reserve prices at about half of less than their Malaysian catalogue value (which is of course much lower than Stanley Gibbons). The auction is open to members only.
We are also accepting articles for the June 2018 journal, The Malaysian Philatelist. Contributions of articles or space fillers are most welcome. You don't have to be a member to contribute to articles.

Re: Philatelic Society Malaysia (Persatuan Filateli Malaysia
Philatelic Society Malaysia will be organising the 4Nations Stamp Exhibition this year.
The tentative date is 29-31 March 2019. The venue will be announced later.
This 4Nations Stamp Exhibition was first started by Malaysia and the 4 nations now cover Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Singapore.
This exhibition is open to exhibitors from the respective recognised Philatelic societies in the 4 nations mentioned. Jurors and national commissioners are invited but all expenses are borne by them.
This idea was mooted to encourage more exhibitions among these 4 nations.
It originally stared with 3 Nations (Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand).
Each country will be invited to exhibit 50 frames. Jurors will come from all the four nations.
A commemorative stamp is being suggested to Pos Malaysia for this event.
More details will be given when available.

Re: Philatelic Society Malaysia (Persatuan Filateli Malaysia
The June 2019 volume of The Malaysian Philatelist has just been printed.
They will be sent out in the following week. Overseas members will of course get it a little later
but as always I use beautiful miniature sheets and stamps on the A4 envelopes.
We also had our annual general meeting on the 23rd of June 2019. It was attended by the largest number of attendees (compared to the last 10 years). It was followed by a lunch and an auction sale.
